Toni Y. Hickey

Toni grew up in Colorado and earned her BS from the University of Colorado Boulder and her JD from SMU. As Deputy Chief of Staff at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, she helped launch the Patents for Humanity initiative to spur innovation around global humanitarian challenges. At Cummins, she rose to Deputy General Counsel and Chief IP Counsel, guided the 2024 spinoff of Atmus Filtration Technologies, and became the company’s Chief Legal Officer. Toni joined Valmont Industries, a global infrastructure and agriculture manufacturer, in 2026. She chairs the JOURNEY Board’s Audit and Finance Committee.
