Theresia Gouw
Founding Partner, Acrew Capital
The daughter of Indonesian immigrants, Theresia grew up in Buffalo and earned a BS in engineering at Brown and an MBA at Stanford. She began her career as a consultant at Bain in San Francisco and, in 1999, moved into venture capital by joining Accel Partners. Over 15 years at Accel, she became the firm’s first female partner. In 2014, Theresia co-founded Aspect Ventures, and in 2019, she started Acrew Capital to invest in companies “solving big, challenging problems.” She serves on the boards of several startups, including Solv Health, Cato Networks, and HYCU. She’s also an investor in her hometown Buffalo Bills and the Golden State Warriors & Valkyries. And she is the lead investor in Major League Volleyball's Northern California franchise.
