Sherrie Westin
President and CEO, Sesame Workshop
A native of Roanoke, Sherrie Westin graduated from the University of Virginia and began her career in Washington, D.C., rising quickly through the ranks of ABC News, U.S. News & World Report, and the George H. W. Bush White House. In 1998, Sherrie joined Sesame Workshop as EVP and Chief Marketing Officer, and in 2024, she became President and CEO. Sherrie oversees research-driven programs that reach children in more than 190 countries.
