Aarti Borkar

Aarti grew up in Mumbai, where her parents, both doctors, worked in underserved communities. She earned a BS in Engineering in India, an MS in Computer Science from USC, and an MS in Business from the University of Texas at Austin. Aarti spent 20 years at IBM, rising from software engineer to VP of IBM Security. In 2021, she moved to Microsoft, where she leads a team of more than 1,500.
