Marissa Mayer

Marissa grew up in Wisconsin and earned two degrees at Stanford—a BS in Symbolic Systems and a master’s in Computer Science—before she arrived at Google as a software engineer and employee No. 20. As a product manager and VP overseeing large divisions, Marissa made a major impact on Google’s look, user experience, and scope. She spent five years at Yahoo as CEO before starting Sunshine in 2018. In 2025, Marissa transitioned Sunshine to Dazzle AI, which is building a next-gen AI personal assistant. Marissa serves on the boards of AT&T, Hilton, Starbucks, and Walmart.
