Meg Whitman
Former U.S. Ambassador to Kenya
Meg grew up on Long Island, graduated Princeton, and began her career as a brand manager at Procter & Gamble. She rose quickly through Bain, Walt Disney, and Stride Rite before heading FTD, the floral delivery giant, and then Hasbro's Playskool division. She joined a 30-person startup called eBay in 1998 and led eBay over a decade to $8 billion in revenue. After an unsuccessful run for governor of California in 2010, Meg headed two other tech giants, HP and HPE, as Chair and CEO. Her entrepreneurial venture, Quibi, shuttered in 2020, and Meg pivoted—serving as U.S. Ambassador to Kenya until early 2025. Meg serves on the board of CoreWeave.
