Shereen Tewfik
COO
Shereen’s journey began in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City, where she grew up in Manhattan Plaza, a building for people in the performing arts. At Franklin & Marshall College, she studied Sociology and Women & Gender Studies, sparking a lifelong commitment to equity and empowerment. That passion carried her across the globe—from supporting individuals with mental health challenges as a vocational counselor, to serving as a Peace Corps Youth Development Specialist in Guatemala, to leading a global mentorship program at Vital Voices that connected emerging women leaders with Fortune’s Most Powerful Women.
Shereen later brought her focus on people and leadership into organizational strategy, serving as Vice President of Operations and Head of Global Resourcing at Hemsley Fraser while earning her Master’s in Human Resources Management from the University of Connecticut. Today, as JOURNEY’s Chief Operating Officer, she channels her passion for advancing women’s leadership into building the systems and strategies that scale impact.
